[Example of SO sheet process] Protect

Using adhesive grade (development product) for bonding to the substrate! Introducing the temporary protection process using PVA.

We would like to introduce an example of the process for the PET/PVA two-layer film "SO Sheet." Using PVA, which has excellent chemical resistance, it can be utilized as temporary protection in processes that involve chemicals. The process involves adhering the PET to the substrate, peeling it off, providing temporary protection against chemical treatments, and then washing the PVA with water. [Overview] <Protection> ■Adhere to the substrate (using water droplets to utilize surface tension for adhesion, utilizing adhesive grade) → Peel off the PET → Provide temporary protection against chemical treatments → Wash the PVA with water *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

PET/PVA two-layer film "SO Sheet"

Water-soluble sheet: By combining with PET, dimensional stability has increased, allowing for the maintenance of fine structural shapes!

The "SO Sheet" is a film made of a two-layer structure of PVA and PET. It can be utilized as a transfer substrate for functional patterns created through various printing and coating processes on the PVA layer (such as resist, metal, functional resins, etc.). Applications as a "water-soluble" process sheet are expected for three-dimensional lithography, extraction of sacrificial layers and self-supporting films, and temporary protection during processes. 【Features】 ■ Removable two-layer structure: Separation of the water-soluble layer and support layer is possible. ■ High dimensional stability: The support layer suppresses dimensional changes due to swelling and shrinkage from moisture absorption and desorption of PVA. ■ Smooth and high transparency: Light transmittance of 90% (visible light), surface roughness Ra of the PVA layer ≓30nm. ■ High printability: Wetting tension of 58mN/m or higher. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
