Gasket Packing Q&A No. 8 Measures Against Gasket Penetration Leakage

I want to prevent gas leaks from the joint sheet! I will propose measures against gasket permeation leaks!

◆Issue Details 〇When using the joint sheet as a gasket and conducting a leak test, the leakage does not stop. ◆Possible Factors 〇The gasket shape is FF type → Insufficient surface pressure 〇No paste applied → Gas permeates 〇Thickness is 3.0 mm → Gas is prone to permeation, significant stress relaxation ◆Countermeasures 〇Change the gasket shape to ring type (inner packing) 〇Apply gasket paste to the flange contact surface and inner diameter end face 〇Reduce gasket thickness to 1.5 mm (especially for smaller sizes, below 200A)

Daiko Tokyo Branch Processing Example No. 6 Gaskets and Industrial Products!

Introducing examples of processing gaskets, packing, and industrial products! We process them using various machines, including water jets (high-pressure processing machines)!

Our company has been processing and selling gaskets, packing, and industrial products for over 45 years. We utilize various processing machines, including one of Japan's largest water jet cutters and plotters, to propose products to our customers. Please feel free to contact us for any inquiries regarding processing. 【Processing Example】 We performed width cutting on 3mm neoprene rubber (50WX10M) using a slitter. This machine specializes in processing rubber strips. The width setting can be easily changed by adjusting the position of the blade. Depending on the material, processing of over 10M is also possible.

Daiko Tokyo Branch Processing Example No. 17 Gaskets and Industrial Products!

Introducing examples of processing gaskets, packing, and industrial products! We process them using various machines, including water jets (high-pressure processing machines)!

Our company has been processing and selling gaskets, packing, and industrial products for over 45 years. We utilize various processing machines, including one of Japan's largest water jets (high-pressure cutting machines), plotters, and press processing, to propose products to our customers. Please feel free to contact us for any inquiries regarding processing. 【Processing Example】 We processed Viton rubber with a thickness of t5. Since the hardness of the rubber is 80°, which is somewhat hard, we reduced the processing speed when using the water jet compared to regular rubber. This time, we set the speed to approximately 1000mm per minute. We also have other thicknesses of Viton rubber in stock, so please feel free to inquire.

Daiko Tokyo Branch Processing Example No. 9 Gaskets and Industrial Products!

Introducing examples of processing gaskets, packing, and industrial products! We process them using various machines, including water jets (high-pressure processing machines)!

Our company has been processing and selling gaskets, packing, and industrial products for over 45 years. We use various processing machines, including one of Japan's largest water jets (high-pressure cutting machines), plotters, and press processing, to propose products to our customers. Please feel free to contact us for any inquiries regarding processing. 【Processing Examples】 We cut a neoprene rubber sheet to the required length using a water jet and processed it into a cylindrical shape with adhesive. The smaller the diameter, the more material rebound occurs, increasing the difficulty of production. When processing as a single piece, it requires processing from a rubber sheet with a thickness of 60mm, and the machines that can handle this are limited. If adhesive processing is possible, we can offer it at a low cost.
