Our company has been processing and selling gaskets, packing, and industrial products for over 45 years. We utilize various processing machines, including one of Japan's largest water jets (high-pressure cutting machines), plotters, and press processing, to propose products to our customers. This processing maximizes the capabilities of the water jet. Due to its large size, two people were involved in the pickup.

■Overview of Processing Example Product Name: 3-Pass Gasket Dimensions: Outer Diameter φ990 × Inner Diameter φ960 × t3 This processing example involves the machining of a gasket with a 3-pass structure that divides the flow path. The client operates in the piping and equipment-related field. The product specifications require a configuration that includes a large-diameter ring shape along with internal partition shapes, necessitating reproducibility of the flow path shape and continuity of the seal line. The product feature is the ability to finish the outer shape, inner diameter, and internal shape as a single unit while accommodating the flow path division due to the 3-pass structure. The machining method selected was water jet cutting. This method allows for machining without thermal impact, making it easier to ensure shape reproducibility even for complex shapes, and enables machining of holes, inner diameters, and outer shapes according to the drawings. The effects of the machining include stable dimensional reproducibility of the internal shapes, ensuring assembly compatibility, and contributing to uniformity in finished quality.

■Overview of Processing Example Product Name: Clutch Cover Gasket Dimensions: 1.5t × φ355 × φ322 (with P350 holes) This processing example involves the production of a gasket for a clutch cover using D6000 (1.5t). In addition to the outer and inner diameters, the inclusion of P350 bolt holes required simultaneous precision in hole positioning and shape. In this application, "compliance of the joint surface" and "ease of alignment during assembly" are crucial as they directly relate to oil sealing performance. Therefore, the drawing shape was converted into processing data, and the outer circumference, inner circumference, and hole drilling were all processed together using water jet cutting. By processing without affecting the material with heat, the reproducibility of the shape and the quality of the end face are stabilized. As a result, conditions that facilitate alignment during assembly and ensure stable finishing of the sealing surface have been secured. Furthermore, the adoption of D6000 contributes to both practicality and cost advantages for oil seal applications.

This method allows for processing without thermal impact, ensuring a uniform cutting surface while maintaining the material's elastic properties. Furthermore, the C chamfering processing helps to reduce interference during assembly, contributing to improved workability and stable sealing performance. ■ Product Features (NBR Rubber) NBR (Nitrile Rubber) has excellent oil resistance, making it an ideal synthetic rubber for seals in fuel oils and lubricants. It also has high mechanical strength and wear resistance, and is widely used in O-rings, gaskets, hoses, etc. However, its weather resistance and ozone resistance are low, making it unsuitable for outdoor use; it is mainly utilized in indoor hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
