Cold forged heat sink

It is cold forging that allows for high tong ratios and free-form shaping. It is suitable for mass production!

This is a processing method for shaping metal materials at room temperature without heating, using molds. It is capable of producing items with a higher aspect ratio than extrusion molding. Since the material is processed at high density, the thermal conductivity slightly increases. There are size constraints on the processed products. Although the mold costs are higher than those for extrusion, there is still a significant cost advantage compared to domestic products due to overseas production (suitable for mass production). Advantages: The thermal conductivity slightly increases because the material is processed at high density. Mass production is possible, and the unit price of the products decreases as the quantity increases.

Aluminum extruded heat sink

Processing of various sizes from small to large is possible! We also accommodate special shape extrusion!

Materials are created by extruding heated aluminum billets through a mold and then processed. Additional processing such as milling, cutting, drilling, tapping, and anodizing is possible. Regarding mold production, if it is not a standard product, there will be costs associated with mold creation. The cost of mold production varies between 50,000 to 500,000 yen depending on the width and difficulty of the product. ●General material: A6063-T5 Advantages: As the quantity increases, the cost decreases. Since the base and fins are integrated, there is no loss in heat transfer.

It also supports precise CNC processing (such as drilling, threading, and milling)! It is possible to process to fin heights that cannot be achieved by extrusion. Heat pipe analysis case study

A case where the introduction of a U-shaped heat pipe reduced the temperature by approximately 10°C.

"We are currently using a 100mm square heat sink for Peltier cooling, but we are struggling to reach the target temperature of below 80°C. Is it possible to propose/analyze a heat sink that can achieve the target temperature?" In response, we introduced a U-shaped heat pipe. As a result of the analysis, we were able to lower the temperature by approximately 10°C.
