We would like to introduce a case study of a scaled model of a helical fusion reactor, researched by Professor Miyazawa from the National Institute for Natural Science's Nuclear Fusion Research Institute, which was produced using a 3D printer. In the Fusion System Research Division, we are advancing the overall system design of fusion power reactors, while also conducting research on materials that are less prone to activation, suitable materials for breeding and recovering fuel, their appropriate arrangement, and the enhancement of plasma-facing components that can withstand high heat flux from the plasma.
