The Seram STP EP "KS-Seram" is a heavy-duty anti-corrosion protective coating applied to the exterior surfaces of tanks, pipes, and equipment in chemical plants, steel mills, and food factories for equipment protection. It is also well-known as a paint specifically for salt damage prevention.
Seram STP EP is primarily made from ceramic microparticles, which are solidified with epoxy resin, providing a coating that has strong adhesion to the substrate, eliminating the need for a primer during application. It allows for thick application, reducing the number of coats needed and significantly lowering construction costs.
In addition to its high corrosion resistance against salt damage, it also possesses extremely high wear resistance, and can be applied to various substrates including steel plates, FRP, concrete, as well as smooth surfaces like stainless steel and galvanized steel sheets.
