Hybridization through combinations with different materials is easy.

In addition to CF and GF, composite materials can be easily created by combining various heterogeneous materials such as organic fibers (cotton yarn, vinylon fibers, etc.), plant-based fibers, metal fibers (boron fibers, alumina fibers), and pulp. All of these are collectively referred to as FRP. The strength of FRP is governed by the fibers (reinforcement materials), but the role of the matrix resin is to impart properties such as weather resistance, corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, heat resistance, and electrical characteristics to the FRP, based on the inherent properties of the resin.
