It excels in temperature, fuel, oil, ozone, and wear resistance, making it suitable for pressure-resistant oil seals.
Zetpole, or "H-NBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Rubber)," was developed as an improved grade of NBR and excels in temperature, fuel, ozone, and abrasion resistance, making it widely used in various industries, particularly the automotive industry. Ourex has standardized oil seals made from Zetpole, focusing on these properties. Compared to NBR (Nitrile Rubber), Zetpole offers higher mechanical strength and chemical stability, along with improved durability, heat resistance, cold resistance, and fuel oil resistance. When used in products, it is expected to enhance compression set resistance, heat generation, and abrasion resistance. When used as an oil seal, it can improve heat resistance by 10-15 degrees, contributing to a longer lifespan within conventional temperature ranges. It is anticipated that some areas can be replaced by fluororubber, which was previously over-spec. Additionally, it possesses excellent mechanical strength, particularly in high-pressure and wear-prone sliding parts, making it ideal for pressure-resistant oil seals. It also complies with food sanitation laws and has a track record of being used in food mixers. Furthermore, one of Zetpole's features is its high resistance to alternative refrigerants, including HFCs, making it promising for use as a sealing material for refrigerants.
