PFAS-free sliding compound resin

Non-fluorinated, PFAS-free lubricating compound resin.

Since the start of the compound business in 1983, the development and manufacturing of lubricating compounds has been the core business of Lehvoss. By using unique formulations of lubricants and reinforcing materials, we have achieved improvements in tribological performance such as friction and wear characteristics and sliding properties. Common lubricants include PTFE, graphite, and silicone oil, but PTFE is a type of PFAS. PFAS stands for perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances, and there are currently various discussions and proposals regarding their manufacture and use, with the industry seeking alternative materials. At Lehvoss, we have been developing PFAS-free lubricating compounds since the 1990s, before discussions about PFAS became active, and these compounds have been adopted in many applications. PFAS-free lubricating compounds are based on engineering plastics and super engineering plastics such as PA66, PA46, PBT, PPS, and PEEK, and include various formulations with additives utilizing nanotechnology. We can propose suitable compounds according to your application.

[Information on Handling Resins] About Functional Resins

Metal substitution! Clearing the conditions that metal fulfilled, metal parts are being converted to resin.

To convert from metal to resin, the plastic must meet the strength conditions and other necessary requirements that the metal parts satisfied. Generally, the weaknesses of plastic compared to metal include "low heat resistance," "low mechanical strength," and "high solubility in organic solvents." I will explain how plastic addresses each of these issues. [Conditions for Metal Replacement with Resin] ■ Improvement of heat resistance ■ Improvement of mechanical strength ■ Improvement of resistance to organic solvents For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Case study of machining Toray's heat-resistant plastic resin PEEK.

Introduction to a case of machining Toray's high heat and chemical resistant PEEK using lathe and milling!

At Takimoto Giken Kogyo, we support machining of Toray's heat-resistant plastic resin PEEK. The super engineering plastics used in automotive-related industrial machinery often have complex shapes, but we strive to meet your requests as much as possible through machining. If there are delays in clamping or positioning, we utilize both NC machining machines to address the issue. For mass production, we enhance efficiency and respond to cost and short delivery times by effectively managing machine operating rates and adjusting shifts. =Helpful Information= PEEK is one of the super engineering plastics and is often used when current materials do not meet requirements. Due to its high heat resistance and chemical resistance, as well as its high functionality, the price is also considerably high. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

We can handle everything from rubber vulcanization processing to rubber processing from metal.

We can handle everything from rubber vulcanization processing to rubber processing from metal. Due to the characteristics of the materials, we will do our best to meet your requirements for tolerances and distortions.

At Takimoto Giken Kogyo Co., Ltd., we can handle everything from rubber curing processing to processing rubber from metal. In the case of curing processing, it takes time for delivery. We cannot accommodate short delivery times. For industrial machinery related to the automotive sector, there are various shapes of chuck jaws depending on the design, but we can get as close as possible to your requirements through machining. Due to the nature of rubber, tolerances cannot be guaranteed. For simple plate processing (sheet material) using general-purpose milling (Makino), we process it with general-purpose machines that do not require the effort of creating a program. The "inspection method" involves checking the received drawings with a check mark, and for areas with tolerances, we will record the actual measured values. The world of rubber materials differs from metal, mainly resulting in ambiguous dimensional tolerances in the tolerance areas, leading to a temperature difference with manufacturers handling metal processed products. We have finally come this far to meet the needs of our users. I feel this is due to the guidance of all of you. We look forward to your continued support. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Processing MC703HL, a plastic resin sliding grade, from bar material!

We process a special grade of MC nylon from bar stock! Considering the properties of the material, we strive to accommodate requests for tolerances and distortions as much as possible.

At Takimoto Giken Kogyo, we process the plastic resin sliding grade "MC703HL" from bar stock. Pins for industrial machinery related to automobiles often have relatively simple shapes, allowing for production in a short lead time and at a low price point. Depending on the processing shape and material, we can get as close as possible to your desired delivery date. For items needed immediately after a holiday, we can accommodate by utilizing weekends and holidays. *For special materials, if there is no stock, lead time may be required. 【About Our Processing】 ■ NC Lathe Compound Processing (Okuma) In small lots, we often process R shapes that do not have standard products through NC processing, which does not incur tool costs unlike general-purpose machines. ■ Material MC Nylon (Monomer Cast Nylon) is often used in areas where mechanical strength (impact resistance) is required, and the material itself is readily available, making it widely used. *Special materials may need to be ordered. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Machining of heat-resistant plastic resin, PEEK!

We will accommodate machining of heat-resistant plastic resin, PEEK. Due to the properties of the material, we will strive to meet your requests regarding tolerances and distortions as closely as possible.

At Takimoto Giken Kogyo Co., Ltd., we handle machining of heat-resistant plastic resin, PEEK, from material processing to all machining processes. For industrial machinery related to the automotive sector, insulators often require thin-walled machining, which can be challenging, and materials that can withstand electrolytes are selected. PEEK is one of the super engineering plastics and is often used when current materials do not meet satisfaction, mainly due to its high heat resistance and chemical resistance. However, because it is a high-performance material, the price is also quite high. Using machining (Mori Seiki) and NC lathe processing (Okuma), if there is a delay in clamping or positioning, we utilize both NC machines for processing. By maintaining a "rich inventory" of materials, we can respond even when material manufacturers are unable to ship. Interestingly, we strive to reduce the defect rate through inspections to address the often unnoticed difficulties in handling, ultimately meeting your requests. In recent years, while users have shown increased interest in plastic resins, there seems to be a gap in knowledge, and we will work to bridge that gap.
