In November, a railway technology exhibition will be held in Chiba Prefecture, and this time I would like to introduce products related to window areas that we would like you to consider for railway vehicles.
The standard options for train window surroundings are pleated curtains and roll screens. However, with the recovery of inbound demand, we propose the following products that subtly enhance the view from the window:
1. Wave Style
The wave style is a design that does not have pleats, allowing for a straightforward expression of the fabric's design. Unlike pleated curtains, it is a visually appealing product that takes advantage of the fabric's inherent softness and texture.
2. Electric Roll Screen
Recently, we have seen successful installations in railway vehicles, and these screens can be easily opened and closed with a switch. While manual operation may require touching the screen, the electric version allows for clean use without touching the screen. In residential settings, it can be operated with a smart remote, and in the near future, there may even be a possibility of train roll screens being operated via QR code scanning with a mobile phone.
3. Roll Screen for the Driver's Seat
This is a pantograph-style roll screen that can be installed on the slope of the front windshield. It has been successfully used in tourist buses, among other applications. When not in use, it can be rolled up, ensuring that it does not obstruct the driver's view and keeps the driver's seat window clear.
