Spiral sheaths for prestressed concrete are lightweight rolled pipes made from strip steel with a width of 34 to 100 mm and a thickness of 0.23 to 1.0 mm, manufactured using our unique production method. They are used in various structures of prestressed concrete. The features of the spiral sheath include the ability to easily form stable curved shapes due to sufficient flexibility, possessing adequate necessary strength despite being thin and lightweight, having a high adhesion strength with concrete, and the ability to be produced in any desired length. [Case Study] Water Heating (Scientific Equipment Manufacturer)

Surface treatment with electrolytic polishing for Incoloy 800 has been implemented! The issue of corrosion has been resolved.

In a scientific equipment manufacturer, there was an issue where corrosion of heater sheaths due to water quality frequently occurred in specific locations within the country, despite using SUS316L with electropolishing. Our company determined that the corrosion was caused by the tap water and its unique water quality in those specific locations, which can reach quite high temperatures during water heating for steam generation. We addressed this by processing the surface with electropolishing on a higher-grade material, Inconel 800.
