Noise Cut Transformer NCT-I4

It is reassuring, especially in cases where a lightning surge is expected.

This is a small, low-cost "Noise Cut Transformer" developed with a focus on general-purpose electronic devices for mass production and portable electronic devices. By utilizing a newly developed noise prevention mechanism (which has been patented), it effectively blocks normal mode noise across a wide frequency range that cannot be prevented by conventional isolation transformers or shielded transformers, thereby significantly improving the noise resistance of the connected devices. Additionally, its wideband common mode noise blocking capability protects the load devices from surges caused by induced lightning. In addition to standard voltage models, we can also produce units with custom voltages upon request, allowing for replacement of the power transformer in connected devices. Furthermore, it can eliminate the need for other noise prevention components such as power filters.

Noise Cut Transformer NCT-K

It is equipped with strict lightning protection and surge prevention.

The lightning surge that intrudes into the power line and reaches one coil of the lightning protection transformer first attempts to transfer electrostatically (through capacitive coupling) to the other coil. However, if the transformer has a shielding plate, this can be effectively prevented. Following this, a slower electromagnetic transfer (through inductive coupling) occurs, and there has been no lightning protection transformer equipped with a structure to prevent this; they have relied on added capacitors and varistors, which have been insufficient to protect low-resistance information devices and precision electronics. However, a structure like the "Noise Cut Transformer," which prevents high-frequency magnetic flux from lightning surges from crossing to the secondary side, can also prevent this electromagnetic transfer. The NCT-K type takes advantage of this characteristic, featuring high voltage insulation that withstands lightning surge impacts, excellent shielding with a very low impedance triple structure, and is designed and manufactured to easily direct powerful lightning surges to the ground, almost completely preventing them from escaping to the load side, making it a "Noise Cut Transformer for lightning protection."

[Countermeasure Example] When the painting robot operates, the leakage breaker trips.

Leakage current detected! No wiring faults or insulation issues found; where could the cause be?

Company A, which develops and manufactures painting robots, has a customer who has decided to initially adopt one set of the new robot on a trial basis. If all goes well, there is a significant possibility of introducing five sets in the future. The equipment was delivered, and the adjustment work was progressing smoothly. It seemed that we would soon be able to hand it over to the customer. However, suddenly the customer reported, "The existing painting robot's ground fault circuit interrupter is tripping irregularly. It seems that a ground fault occurs when the new robot starts or stops. We cannot proceed with the acceptance inspection under these circumstances!" *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

[Case Study] Pharmaceutical Manufacturer C Research Institute

Unexplained stoppage of the centrifuge, what is its true nature? Here we present a case that achieved stable operation of research equipment!

At the C Research Institute, research and development of new drugs is underway, and many facilities are operational; however, there were issues occurring. It was speculated that the cause might be the deterioration of the power supply environment due to voltage fluctuations, but this remained merely a hypothesis, and we were troubled. Since there are various factors that can deteriorate the power supply environment, we first proposed the introduction of high-frequency noise countermeasure products that could be implemented at a low cost and provided a trial unit. When we attached a "Noise Cut Transformer" to the centrifuge to see if the situation would change, the issues that had occurred daily ceased entirely from the first day of implementation. Subsequently, we introduced the solution to the devices that had experienced issues, and those devices also stopped having problems, achieving stable operation of the research equipment. 【Case Summary】 ■ Problem: Unable to identify the cause of the issues ■ Proposal: High-frequency noise countermeasure products that can be implemented at a low cost ■ Introduced Product: Noise Cut Transformer ■ Result: Troubles resolved through high-frequency noise countermeasures ■ Conclusion: It is important to implement measures suitable for the factors causing disturbances that deteriorate the power supply environment. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Company A, a manufacturer of POS system development, has been focusing on the spread of tablet-type POS systems and has delivered them to many stores. However, recently, complaints have been received from newly supplied stores stating that "malfunctions occur and operations become impossible." Company A conducted investigations daily to resolve this issue, but identifying the cause proved difficult, leading to a prolonged period of uncertainty. Therefore, our company estimated that the conductive noise transmitted through the power line was entering the tablet via the charger, causing the trouble. We proposed a "Noise Cut Transformer" that could eliminate the noise from the power supply. After installation, the troubles completely disappeared, and normal operations were restored. [Case Summary] ■ Problem: Unable to operate while charging ■ Product Introduced: Noise Blocking Transformer "Noise Cut Transformer" ■ Effect: Troubles completely resolved *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
