[Case Study] Achieving Total Cost Reduction

Reducing processing man-hours for wiring ducts! Introducing case studies of wiring duct processing services.

At Company H, which manufactures and sells equipment for plants and environmental-related devices, there were challenges such as "wanting to reduce the total cost during control panel production" and "there are limits to reducing the cost of materials." They produce a large number of control panels for purification tanks and wastewater treatment equipment, and while working on cost reduction for standard specification control panels, they decided to implement our service. They received feedback that not only did it lead to a reduction in manufacturing costs, but it also contributed to reducing costs that are usually not considered, such as the disposal costs of duct offcuts. 【Overview】 ■ Challenges - There are limits to reducing the cost of materials - There are many factory inspections, and they want to keep the work site clean - There are many female workers, and they want to reduce the labor involved in cutting heavy ducts ■ Results - The processing man-hours for wiring ducts (setup, cutting, cleanup) were reduced - Waste due to processing errors was eliminated - Marking of ducts made it easy to identify installation positions, improving work efficiency - As a result of reducing man-hours, personnel could be assigned to other tasks - A series of efforts and costs related to offcut disposal were also reduced *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Achieving Environmental Consideration and Improved Oil Resistance

Request for environmentally friendly ducts with high oil resistance! Introducing case studies of non-halogen PP ducts.

Company A, a supplier of automotive parts providing products to major automobile manufacturers worldwide, actively adopts environmentally friendly products in its production facilities and has been using our ECO wiring ducts. However, it was found that the oil used in some equipment was not suitable for the use of ECO wiring ducts, leading to a request for environmentally friendly ducts with high oil resistance. We proposed a non-halogen flame-retardant PP duct. By using this duct, it has become unnecessary to consider the effects of oil and other substances while being environmentally conscious, and it continues to be used. [Overview] ■Challenges - Desire to use environmentally friendly products - Oil in some equipment is not suitable for ECO wiring ducts - Need for a product that balances environmental considerations and oil resistance ■Results - Measures for environmental consideration and oil resistance have been implemented in all areas *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Response to Sudden Electromagnetic Wave Measures

Emergency electromagnetic wave countermeasures with very low labor costs! Case study on the introduction of noise protect tubes.

Company D is a dedicated electrical construction company for a major food manufacturer, and in the food factory, new installations and expansions or transfers of production lines were frequently carried out due to the manufacturing of new products. Therefore, we constantly considered ways to prevent malfunctions caused by noise and implemented noise countermeasures through wiring arrangements and other methods. In this context, we considered the noise protection tube (Velcro type), and upon testing with a sample product, we found significant advantages in its ease of use for retrofitting noise countermeasures and protecting wiring, leading to its adoption. [Overview] ■ Issues - It was extremely difficult to identify the causes during conventional electromagnetic wave countermeasures (noise countermeasures). - There were limitations in countermeasures through wiring arrangements. - Even when urgent electromagnetic wave countermeasures (noise countermeasures) were required, it took a considerable amount of labor. ■ Requests - There is a need to implement temporary electromagnetic wave countermeasures until the source of noise is identified. - We want items that allow for easy electromagnetic wave countermeasures. - We want to carry out electromagnetic wave countermeasures without incurring additional labor. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Significant Reduction of Wiring Man-Hours with Fixtures

No need for binding and fixing work with binding bands! Case study on the introduction of flexible wiring tubes.

At Company T, which manufactures various control panels and distribution boards, they have recently received an order for mass production items and are considering reducing labor hours. In this context, they have considered using our wiring flexible tubes for production. In the previous method, wires were either routed in an L-shape and secured with cable ties or wired using wiring ducts. By using flexible tubes this time, the work was completed simply by "inserting the wires into the tube on the workbench" and "attaching them to the pre-installed fixtures." This has been evaluated as having a significant effect on reducing labor hours. Additionally, eliminating the exposure of wires has contributed to preventing damage and improving appearance. [Overview] ■ Issues - As this is a mass-produced model, we want to reduce labor hours and increase production efficiency. - We want to minimize the exposure of wires as much as possible. ■ Requests - We would like you to propose products that lead to labor hour reductions. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Achieving Improved Exterior Appearance in the Factory

The protection of electrical wires also helps improve the aesthetics within the factory! Case study on the introduction of non-halogen flame-retardant PP ducts.

We are primarily engaged in the design and manufacturing of labor-saving devices centered around production equipment for major manufacturers, and we also undertake modifications and rearrangements of equipment. We have been selected by Company H to use non-halogen flame-retardant PP ducts for the protection of cables wired within their factory. Initially, they were using PVC (gray) wiring ducts, but there was a request from the user for a less conspicuous color for cable protection. Our ducts are ivory-colored, which is close to the color scheme of the factory, leading to their adoption. While the ducts provide protection for electrical wires, they have also been evaluated positively for contributing to the improvement of the factory's appearance. [Overview] ■ Issues - They want to use ducts for cable protection in the factory, but gray is too conspicuous. - Other manufacturers only offer large ducts for accommodating small amounts of electrical wires. - Large ducts are costly and cumbersome to process (time-consuming). ■ Requests - They requested ducts in a color close to that of the factory or a color that conveys cleanliness. - A wide variety of sizes and ease of processing are desired. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Inventory Reduction, Effective Use of Space

Eliminating losses due to ensuring safety during operations and processing errors! Case study on the introduction of wiring duct processing services.

Company K designs and manufactures high-voltage receiving equipment, and as a result of various considerations to meet customer demands for short delivery times, they decided to adopt our services. Through specification meetings with the design team, we created drawings for the ducts and delivered them in set packaging, with processed ducts packed by production number. They are very satisfied with the fact that installation work can begin immediately after receiving the products. Additionally, they have effectively utilized the space created by reducing the inventory of standard-sized products, and they have also appreciated the reduction in duct waste, contributing to environmental considerations. [Challenges and Requests] ■ Minimize cutting and processing ■ Reduce inventory (standard-sized products require large boxes, so space must be secured) ■ Difficulty in storing and disposing of duct waste ■ Eliminate losses due to processing errors ■ Respond to short delivery times (delivery within four business days from order) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Easy to install and provides shielding effect.

Even thin cables have airtightness and exhibit shielding effects! Case study of noise protection tube introduction.

At Company S, a manufacturer that designs and produces conveying systems and food processing equipment, there were frequent malfunctions due to noise on the communication cables of encoders attached to servo motors. After using our noise protection tube (snap type) on the communication cables, we received reports that electromagnetic interference was eliminated. The communication cables for the encoders connect the control panel and the equipment, with lengths ranging from 10m to 15m. From the perspective of ease of installation and work efficiency, the KATS series was selected. 【Overview】 ■ Issues - Difficult to identify the source of the problem - Challenging to select electromagnetic interference countermeasures - Poor work efficiency ■ Requirements - Products that are readily available and have high work efficiency - Products that can be retrofitted for countermeasures - High shielding effectiveness *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
