Level VI / CoC Tier 2 compliant AC adapter
The SDI30-U series is designed to meet the current average efficiency and no-load power requirements set forth by the Level VI standard enforced by the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE). Additionally, all models comply with the CoC Tier 2 standard proposed by the European Union (EU). The CoC Tier 2 standard is currently under review for legislation in 2018, which will tighten the efficiency requirements mandated by the Level VI standard and introduce a new limit on power consumption at 10% load. Both standards aim to significantly reduce power consumption when the final product is not in use or when it is not connected to a system.
The SDI30 series supports C8 and C14 inlets, with output voltages of 12, 15, 19, and 24VDC. Both models are housed in a compact package with external dimensions of 111x52x32.3 mm and feature a wide universal input voltage range of 90-264VDC. They have obtained safety certifications including UL/cUL, GS, PSE, and CE, and comply with FCC Part 15B Class B for radiated and conducted emissions. Protection features against overvoltage and short circuits are also included.
