■About this product This is a dehumidifying filter that separates water vapor from compressed air and nitrogen air. The separated water vapor is released into the atmosphere, so no drainage treatment is necessary. ■To achieve dehumidification effect 1. Increase the supply pressure on the inlet side 2. Increase the flow rate on the inlet side 3. Restrict the flow rate on the outlet side with a flow control valve 4. Increase the purge amount ■What is purging? Purging refers to the process of releasing a portion of the dry air supplied to the outlet side, along with the water vapor inside the membrane, to the atmosphere through a separate circuit from the outlet side (purge). - The greater the purge amount, the better the dehumidification performance, but the flow rate on the outlet side will decrease. - If the purge amount is small, the dehumidification performance will slightly decrease, but a larger flow rate can be maintained on the outlet side. ■Mechanism of water vapor separation The filter uses a hollow fiber membrane made of polyimide material, which allows water vapor to pass through easily. When humid air is passed through from the inlet side under pressure, the water vapor is separated. As a result, dry air is obtained on the outlet side. It cannot be used under reduced pressure, as the water vapor will not be separated and dehumidification will not occur.

Compressed air is a fundamental power source widely used across various industries. This safe, cooperative, and reliable compressed gas occupies the most important part of the production process. While this beneficial compressed gas is essential, it contains contaminants such as moisture, debris, metal dust, and degraded lubricants that mix together to form undesirable sludge. Much of this sludge is acidic, which can shorten the lifespan of pneumatic equipment, clog valves and small pipes, necessitating frequent maintenance and leading to air leaks that increase costs. Furthermore, it can corrode piping systems and cause significant damage to production processes. By using high-performance air filters equipped with drain traps, it is possible to remove oil, moisture, and particulate debris, thereby eliminating undesirable sludge from the compressed air system. However, in modern manufacturing systems and processes that demand higher quality air, this alone may not be sufficient. In such cases, drying the entire compressed air system is unnecessary and costly.
