We would like to introduce a case study in which the planetary stirring of a high-viscosity fluid was analyzed using the particle method analysis software "Particleworks." The purpose of this analysis was to compare the flow state, mixing degree, and torque within the container between two types of blades in order to understand the characteristics of the blades. I would like to introduce information about how CAE and CFD are useful in the world, including interesting application examples, primarily through articles from the information magazine "ADVANTAGE" published by ANSYS, Inc. and ANSYS Japan Co., Ltd. This time, we will present an interview article with Mr. Manabu Umeda and Mr. Shinichi Sagara from LIXIL Corporation, who are utilizing flow analysis of toilet products in the design and development of new products. There are various fluid analysis tools available, but the reason for choosing ANSYS Fluent is that it can simulate products such as toilets and bathtubs, which are composed of curved surfaces. One of the benefits of introducing simulation is "visualization." Since ceramic toilets can only be visually inspected up to the point where water accumulates, it is not possible to see the condition of the drainage path. We would like to introduce our analysis of "Cabin Acoustic Characteristics of Tracks Using Acoustic Coupled Analysis Function." In recent years, considering low noise environments has become very important. It is effective to use finite element method analysis to understand the acoustic characteristics of the cabin during the design phase and to reduce noise transmission to the operator through structural considerations.
