Just as we used AWS auto-scaling in a VM environment to flexibly utilize EC2 resources according to system load before using Kubernetes, we can freely scale up and down worker nodes in a Kubernetes environment as well. In a Kubernetes environment, node auto-scaling can be done using Cluster AutoScaler (CAS) and Karpenter.
