The ball screw and spline are designed with ball screw grooves and ball spline grooves crossing on a single shaft, and each ball screw nut has a dedicated support bearing directly incorporated into its outer circumference, forming a stroke and rotation unit. By rotating or stopping the ball screw nut and spline outer cylinder, it is possible to achieve rotational motion, linear motion, and spiral motion on a single axis. This is ideal for applications such as the Z-axis of a SCARA robot, assembly robots, auto loaders, and ATC devices in machining centers, where a combination of rotational and linear motion is required.
This is a collaborative product pursued by a ball screw manufacturer and a ball spline manufacturer, focusing on hybrid, compact, and lightweight design.
A composite product that allows linear motion (Z), rotation (θ), and suction with a single product. A ball screw is machined with splines, enabling combined linear (Z) and rotational (Θ) motion on a single axis. Since what was traditionally composed of two axes can now be configured with one axis, compact design becomes possible. Additionally, by utilizing a hollow hole, it can also be used for air suction applications.

The ball screw spline consists of a shaft that has both a ball screw and spline groove, and is composed of a high-rigidity, high-precision ball screw nut and ball spline outer cylinder. The 'SPBR type' combines a rotary ball screw nut and rotary ball spline outer cylinder that integrates a high-speed rotating angular contact component.
