Development of technologies to enhance regional disaster prevention capabilities through the utilization of earthquake information and the establishment of disaster prevention bases! Here is an introduction to our implementation results.
This is an introduction to the implementation of the "Ai-SYSTEM" at Aichi Institute of Technology (Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture).
It was introduced at the Yakusa campus in September 2004 under the earthquake disaster prevention consortium project "Development of Technology to Improve Regional Disaster Prevention Capabilities through the Utilization of Earthquake Information and the Formation of Disaster Prevention Bases."
Later, it was expanded and operated at the Motoyama campus, Jiyugaoka campus, and affiliated Meiden High School and Middle School, as well as the Information and Electronics Vocational School.
After its implementation, every year during the new student orientation, explanations are provided regarding the mindset during emergency earthquake alerts, the school's response, evacuation routes, and disaster supply stockpiles. Staff and students have become proactive in understanding the hazardous areas on campus.
Since the evacuation drills using emergency earthquake alerts in 2012, they have participated in the "Aichi ShakeOut Drill."
