The "DPASS SH500-J" receives the "Advanced Use" emergency earthquake alerts issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency and notifies the predicted seismic intensity and the time until the shaking arrives. There are two types of emergency earthquake alerts: "General Use" and "Advanced Use." The emergency earthquake alerts issued via mobile phones and other devices are of the "General Use" type.
