Taiwan's major IT service provider, SYSTEX, has launched a new high-performance computing cloud service called "GARAOTUS." With superior computational performance compared to general PCs, it can be utilized in general enterprises for: - Virtual simulations of various experiments required in the design and development processes of the manufacturing industry (such as collision tests and drop tests) - Large-scale simulations in specific environments (e.g., the correlation between human behavior patterns and the spread of viruses) - Weather and disaster forecasting - Research and development experiments in pharmaceutical companies - Market forecasting in the financial sector GARAOTUS HPC can be used for simulations, research, and development in various fields. It adopts a cloud-based system, allowing for a flexible environment different from on-premises systems. Additionally, companies that already have on-premises HPC can add the cloud-based GARAOTUS HPC as an extension.
