We will introduce a case study that addresses the challenges faced by customers troubled by the occurrence of bundled packaging and empty bags. ■Challenge While manufacturing individually wrapped confectionery products, the commonly used iron and stainless steel blades were wearing out quickly, leading to poor cutting performance and the generation of bundled packaging and empty bags. Although we were removing these issues with inspection equipment, we wanted to eliminate them entirely due to their frequent occurrence. ■Proposal Ultra-hard cutter NOVAS for food packaging machines ■Result After switching to this product, the sharpness of the blades improved. Compared to conventional iron and stainless steel, the lifespan is also longer, enabling long-term continuous operation and stable production.
