Carbon fiber (dry/wet nozzle)

Used as an acrylic precursor for the production of high-strength, high-modulus carbon fibers.

Carbon fibers (dry and wet nozzle) have superior strength and elasticity compared to carbon fibers produced by the wet spinning method, making them widely used as acrylic precursors for the manufacture of high-strength and high-elasticity carbon fibers. They are utilized in a wide range of applications, including structural materials for aerospace and industrial fields, as well as in sports and leisure sectors. The dry and wet spinning method involves directing the polymer ejected from the nozzle into a gas stream and then immediately guiding it into a coagulation bath to solidify. The nozzle size tends to increase depending on the spinning conditions, and using precious metals for the material can lead to increased costs, so relatively inexpensive stainless steel is commonly used. For more details, please download the catalog.

Rice husk ash, shell and resin composite plastic MGC pellets

We will significantly reduce the use of fossil materials and contribute to the preservation of the Earth's environment!

Rice husks, which are a staple food for Japanese people, are produced annually in Japan (2.3 million tons) and around the world (120 million tons), primarily in Asian countries. During the process of milling the harvested rice, rice husks are generated, and a large portion of them is utilized as a thermal resource for thermal power generation. Some of the incinerated rice husk ash is used as a soil amendment or as insulation material in steelmaking, but the majority becomes industrial waste. The main component of rice husk ash is silica (SiO2), which consistently contains over 90%, and due to its porous nature, it is a functional resource that is being utilized and researched in various industrial fields, although significant effective utilization has not been achieved. Additionally, most of the shells are treated as industrial waste and discarded. Since these shells are attached to internal organs, they cause foul odors and lead to soil and groundwater contamination due to the leaching of heavy metals (especially cadmium) contained in the organs, posing environmental conservation issues. The MCG pellets, which effectively utilize these materials, are environmentally friendly materials that can significantly contribute to the preservation of the global environment by leveraging the characteristics of natural materials compared to conventional resin materials. Recycled carbon fiber

It has superior strength compared to conventional pyrolysis methods, and it has good affinity for nylon resins, making composite strength promising!

We would like to introduce the improvements made to cut fibers using T800 uncured prepreg as raw material, which took us about two years to develop. We have enhanced performance, resin dispersion, and side feed capability for extruders, and we believe that the affinity for nylon resins and others, based on the carbon surface structure and binding resin structure, will lead to expected composite strength. Additionally, we have successfully significantly reduced the amount of acidic binding resin and made it harmless to nylon. Since there were no issues with side feed capability, we will focus on expanding sales in the future. [Surface Structure of Our Carbon Fiber] - Our rCF surface contains amino (-NH2) groups and nitro (-NO2) groups that have affinity with nylon resin. - Although this is based on slurry results, the nylon 11 composite shows 1.2 times higher strength than commercially available T700, and surface treatment can further increase it by up to 1.5 times. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Carbon fiber "Mild Fiber"

By adding it to plastics and other materials, it is possible to impart the properties of carbon fibers!

The "Milled Fiber" that we handle refers to carbon fibers that have been pulverized into a powder form by applying short fiber cutting technology. Since carbon fibers have a very fine diameter of 5 to 7 microns, even when they are ground to the point where they no longer appear as "fibers," they still maintain their shape and properties. Therefore, by mixing Milled Fiber with polymer materials such as rubber, resin, and plastic, it is expected to impart functionalities such as strength, heat resistance, and elasticity. 【Features】 ■ Because it has electrical conductivity, it is possible to impart electrical properties to products that normally do not conduct electricity. ■ By using it as a filler, it is possible to increase the volume of the material while maintaining the properties of the original polymer material. ■ It is possible to aim for manufacturing that achieves cost reduction and improved functionality. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
