The CL61 is a high-performance lidar equipped with a polarization de-coupling measurement function that allows for unmanned operation 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, under various weather conditions.
The CL61's polarization discrimination measurement allows for the differentiation of cloud and precipitation in individual phases, liquid phases, or mixed phases, providing readily usable information for atmospheric characterization. Polarization discrimination measurement not only enables the distinction between liquid and solid phases but also allows for the detection of dust, volcanic ash, and pollen.
