We proposed the bottom-open type of KMβ dewatering bag for the chemical manufacturer who expressed a desire to easily extract crystals using a top-discharge centrifuge.

We proposed the bottom-open type basket without a flange for the dewatering bag of our upper discharge centrifuge KMβ to Company O, a chemical manufacturer, who expressed the desire to easily extract crystals using an upper discharge centrifuge. In an upper discharge centrifuge, the operator must manually remove the solids. However, this is quite labor-intensive, and the difficulty increases if the solids are hard. Furthermore, when it comes to medium-sized machines around 42 inches, the solids to be removed can exceed 100 kg. To alleviate this heavy labor, we considered the bottom-open type of dewatering bag.

As a result of introducing our centrifuge, they reported that they can now conduct repeated separation tests with small sample sizes, leading to a significant reduction in the time required for condition setting. Regarding the detachment and disassembly of the basket for cleaning, traditional centrifuges require specialized knowledge and tools, but our LAC-2000 allows for easy detachment with general tools, which has also reduced the burden on operators. We want to find a way to reduce the costs associated with testing expensive samples. We propose the "LAC400," a research and development centrifuge that allows for filtration tests with a well-defined cake thickness using a small amount of sample. While traditional centrifuges required 20 liters of sample, the "LAC400" can perform filtration tests with just 400 milliliters of sample. By reducing the amount of filtration sample, the filtration time is also shortened, which decreases the overall testing time. In light of the production expansion plan, we would like to increase the filtration and separation processing capacity per unit. We received a request to increase the processing capacity per unit with the construction of a new building, and we proposed our top-performing upper drive bottom discharge centrifugal separator, the "MARKIII." Typically, the maximum processing capacity of this product in the largest size of 60×40 inches is 940L, but after discussions between our technical department and the customer, we designed it to increase the capacity to 1027L.
