Water-soluble cutting oil [Beacon introduction case] Automotive mass production parts processing

Improvement effect on tool life! A case where the working environment was improved without the smell of coolant.

We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of the water-soluble cutting oil "beacon" at N Iron Works Co., Ltd., which specializes in mass production parts processing for automobiles. Previously, with the micro-emulsion type coolant, the tool life for M6 taps was limited to 130 holes. After the introduction of type 3, along with a review of processing conditions, it became possible to process up to 600 holes, and the review of processing conditions led to a reduction in processing time. 【Case Overview】 ■ Customer Name: N Iron Works Co., Ltd. (Automobile mass production parts processing) ■ Oil Used: type 3 ■ Equipment: Brother Industries MC ■ Material Processed: S55C ■ Processed Product: Automobile engine parts (mass production) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Water-soluble cutting oil [Beacon introduction case] Mr. T (equipment parts processing)

Tool life has been extended! A case of replacing coolant containing chlorine compounds.

We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of water-soluble cutting oil "beacon" to Company T, which specializes in equipment parts processing. The company previously used a chlorinated paraffin-containing emulsion coolant. Chlorinated compounds were deemed essential for processing, but due to changes in regulations regarding the use of chemical substances, the use of chlorinated paraffin was banned, leading to a switch to type 3. After the change, they were able to achieve processing performance similar to that of the previous oil, and the tool life was extended. It was noted that the oil is smooth and non-sticky, with no adhesion of chips. 【Case Overview】 ■ Customer Name: Company T (Equipment Parts Processing) ■ Oil Used: Type 3 ■ Equipment: NC Lathe ■ Material Processed: SUS306 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Water-soluble cutting oil [Beacon introduction case] Mr. K (transport equipment parts processing)

Processing performance is equivalent, ensuring stable productivity! A case study on coolant lifespan improvement.

We would like to introduce a case study of the introduction of water-soluble cutting oil "beacon" to K Corporation, which processes transportation machine parts. The company previously used a high-performance plant oil emulsion coolant, which had issues with purchase cost and liquid degradation (bad odor and workpiece cleaning performance). After switching to type 3, the machining performance remained equivalent, ensuring stable productivity, while the cleaning performance of the workpieces improved significantly, and the amount of concentrated liquid used decreased, resulting in cost savings. 【Case Overview】 ■ Customer Name: K Corporation (Transportation Machine Parts Processing) ■ Oil Used: Type 3 ■ Equipment: Dedicated Machine ■ Material Processed: Alloy Steel (Pipe Material) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Improvement Case] Significant reduction in oil mist with only a change in non-water-soluble cutting oil.

Contributes to reducing the working environment and usage through low mist generation! Enables reliable oil supply to processing points.

We would like to introduce a case where the change to a non-water-soluble cutting oil significantly reduced oil mist, based on a consultation from a customer using oil-based cutting oil in a machining center. The generation of a large amount of mist was pointed out as deteriorating the working environment, and the oil mist generated during processing made the workers' hair and clothes sticky and gave off an oily smell. When we proposed a paraffin-rich oil-based cutting oil, the oil mist visibly decreased, and the adhesion and stickiness to the workers' hair and clothes were significantly reduced. [Case Summary] ■ Issues - A large amount of oil mist was generated, deteriorating the working environment. ■ Implementation Effects - Visible reduction in oil mist. - Significant decrease in adhesion and stickiness to workers' hair and clothes. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
