The "HAGOROMO-nano" is a contact-type tool length measurement system for small cutting tools that employs a seesaw mechanism and can measure tool lengths down to Φ0.01. It allows for measurement with low contact pressure, enabling the measurement of cutting tools while they are rotating. For contact detection, it uses a laser unit with a resolution of 3.8 pm (0.0000038 μm).
