[Conductive Diamond Technology Case Study] Semiconductor Cleaning, Pre-treatment for Resin Plating
Environmentally friendly alternative technology! Capable of producing persulfate (electrolytic sulfate).
Conductive diamond technology for semiconductor cleaning and pretreatment for resin plating We would like to introduce a case study. Electrolytic sulfuric acid generated using diamond electrodes is expected to serve as an alternative technology to address issues such as toxicity and large amounts of waste that arise in manufacturing processes for semiconductors and automobiles. When sulfuric acid is electrolyzed using diamond electrodes with a wide potential window, it triggers a powerful oxidation reaction, allowing for the production of persulfate (electrolytic sulfuric acid). Diamonds have excellent resistance to acids and do not wear out even with strong electrolytic sulfuric acid. This technology is anticipated to be applied as an alternative method in the manufacturing processes of semiconductors and automobiles. [Case Overview] ■ Application: Semiconductor cleaning, pretreatment for resin plating ■ Technology: Electrolytic synthesis of peroxides (persulfate, perphosphate), organic synthesis, synthesis of useful substances from CO2 (formic acid, aldehydes) ■ Contribution: Environmentally friendly alternative technology *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
