The DSRC communication unit has four models in its lineup. Broadly, they can be classified into WCN reading and electric field strength measurement. When constructing an entry management system, it is necessary to associate each vehicle's information (vehicle type, owner, vehicle registration number, etc.) with the WCN of the ETC on-board unit. By using ME9115A or A+C, the reading of the WCN (wireless call number) from the ETC on-board unit becomes easier.
