cBN has a crystal structure similar to that of diamond, giving it very hard properties, making it one of the hardest materials for cutting tools used to machine iron. In fact, it allows for cutting speeds more than twice that of carbide-coated tools and tool life over five times longer, enabling not only process shortening but also various improvements such as enhanced surface roughness of the workpiece and stable dimensional accuracy. In addition to standard products, we can provide custom ball end mills with radii from R0.05 to R3 and radius end mills with cutting diameters from φ0.1 to φ6.0, with a delivery time of two weeks for orders of two pieces or more. Additionally, for rib machining, we can change the effective length up to about ten times the cutting diameter, and we can also manufacture tapered necks, V-mill types, and C-faced types.
