Here is an introduction to the charging time during EV rescue. With an ICE (internal combustion engine), it is possible to drive approximately 50 km after the fuel warning light comes on. The Nissan Leaf has a range of 450 km with a 60 kWh battery, which translates to 7.5 km/kWh. Considering 5 km/kWh, about 10 kWh of charging is needed. If charged with a fast charger set to 50 kW, it is possible to charge 10 kWh in about 12 minutes.
