"EtherCAT(R)" is an open field bus with a simple wiring configuration that utilizes Ethernet(R) to achieve ultra-high speed, featuring a motion control architecture suitable for high-precision synchronization between nodes. It realizes a daisy-chain wiring configuration without the use of network switches or hubs.
