Gas reaction is proportional to the piston rod diameter and cylinder diameter! Introducing Hahn's gas springs!

A "gas spring" contains compressed non-flammable nitrogen gas sealed inside the cylinder, and this gas pressure acts as a spring to push out the piston rod. As the piston rod contracts, the volume inside the cylinder decreases, compressing the gas. This increases the gas reaction force. Additionally, oil for lubricating the piston rod is included inside the cylinder, which creates hydraulic resistance just before the piston rod fully extends. 【Features】 ■ The piston rod is always in the maximum extended position when there is no load. ■ As the piston rod contracts, the volume inside the cylinder decreases, compressing the gas and increasing the gas reaction force. ■ The gas reaction force is proportional to the diameter of the piston rod and the diameter of the cylinder. ■ Oil for lubricating the piston rod is included inside the cylinder. ■ Hydraulic resistance occurs just before the piston rod fully extends. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

The solution to such concerns is the gas spring with a protective cover, L-666/L-667. The L-666/L-667 features a cover on the rod part, preventing the adhesion of dirt and dust, as well as the entanglement of garbage bags. It has the same black coating as the cylinder part, making it neat, simple, and aesthetically pleasing! We also offer rubber covers for protecting the rod part, which can be purchased separately, but with the L-666 and L-667, there’s no need to buy them separately!
