Collision Safety Experiment [High-Speed Camera Application Example]

Collision experiments from passenger cars to large vehicles realized! It is also possible to capture images of parts located out of human sight.

During collision tests, we can capture and analyze the behavior of vehicle deformation, device components, and dummy figures using high-speed cameras. We propose a shooting system for crash safety experiments that combines various high-speed cameras, from stationary cameras capturing the interior to small cameras that can photograph hard-to-reach internal components, along with lighting devices that provide appropriate illumination for various installation locations, and image analysis software that performs quantitative analysis such as displacement, speed, and acceleration. We have started collaborating with MESSRING GmbH (Germany) and have begun handling compact and high-output towing devices suitable for frontal impact tests, side impacts, and Car to Car tests. 【Features】 <Analysis Software> ■ Simple Analysis Function LAA (standard with HXLink) - Easily measure the length, area, and angle of target objects within image files - Immediately display the position and length of arbitrary points after shooting ■ MOVIAS Neo - Automatically track target marks on dummies and bodies *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Basic Knowledge of High-Speed Cameras *Free materials available

This book covers everything you need to know about high-speed cameras and how to use them! It includes guidance on choosing a camera and utilizing image analysis.

In general, a camera that can capture more than 1,000 frames per second is called a "high-speed camera." It can "visualize" high-speed phenomena that are imperceptible to the eye in high-quality images and is used in research and development across various fields. Even though we refer to it simply as a high-speed camera, the necessary functions vary depending on the application. To help you choose a camera suitable for your needs, we have compiled everything from the basics to image utilization into one book. [Contents] - Types of high-speed cameras and how to choose them, along with the shooting process - Preparation for high-speed shooting - How to determine shooting speed, spatial resolution (resolution), shutter speed, and trigger settings - Image analysis using captured footage - Comparison table of high-speed cameras *We are currently offering "Everything You Need to Know About High-Speed Cameras: Basic Knowledge for Use" for free! Please click on "PDF Download" to take a look.

OS II High-Speed Camera

It is a memory-integrated model that also supports streaming. We have prepared five models, including a high-resolution model with 8129x8129 pixels at 90fps.

The OS II Streaming camera is a very small and compact camera that offers two communication methods: 10Gbps Ethernet communication and optional Thunderbolt 3 compatible communication (XStreamLink interface). When using the traditional method of utilizing the camera's internal memory, high-speed data transfer is performed via 10G Ethernet after shooting. For streaming that directly transfers data to a PC's memory or SSD, Thunderbolt 3 is used. The lens mount can be selected from a C mount or a remotely operated electric MFT mount. In G-resistant environments, a C mount is used to provide G-resistant lens support.
