"LIMIM" is a technology that produces molded parts using injection molding techniques from a material made by kneading metal fine powder and a resin-based binder. Manual pressure forming is possible up to a maximum of 200 MPa (surface pressure of 2 tons)!

It is possible to achieve high-density molding because the molding body is uniformly pressurized by water pressure! This is a compact, manually operated cold isostatic press with a simple structure and low cost, combining a custom-made lab press and a pressure-resistant container. One of its attractions is that it can also be used as a powder molding machine when the pressure-resistant container is removed. It is ideal for achieving uniform molding density in cases where high-density molding of metal and ceramic powders, as well as molding of irregular shapes and long objects, is difficult.
