Scanning Liquid Nanoparticle Counter STPC 3

Liquid Particle Counter (Semiconductor and Wafer Related)

Are you familiar with Particle Precursors? The cleaning process, which removes debris and contaminants, is extremely important for improving semiconductor yield, and foundries must manage the cleanliness of UPW (Ultra-Pure Water) and chemicals used in cleaning. Until now, liquid-phase particles have been considered a cause of yield reduction, with management focusing on keeping "the number of 20nm particles below a certain threshold." However, it has recently been recognized that contaminants, which are not visible as particles but dissolve in UPW or chemicals and appear when dried, negatively impact yield. "While they couldn't be counted in the liquid, they manifest on the wafer like a stain..." These contaminants are referred to as Particle Precursors. In an environment where terms like miniaturization and integration are prevalent, foundries and suppliers interested in managing particles and precursors in UPW (Ultra-Pure Water) and chemicals (IPA, ammonium hydroxide, hydrogen peroxide, hydrochloric acid, PGME) are encouraged to reach out for inquiries.

Ultra-high concentration handheld particle counter PP8300/8500

One device is sufficient for clean room monitoring, indoor environment, work environment, oil mist, and air pollution monitoring, as well as exposure experiments!

Introducing the ultra-high concentration handheld particle counters 'Model 8300/8500'. Understanding particle dispersion and monitoring environmental pollution levels is not only necessary in clean rooms. Regardless of the cleanliness level, managing the required environmental particle concentration levels is essential in various settings. Until now, particle counters could not handle high-concentration aerosols, but their simplicity, in-situ capability, and real-time features have now been adapted for use in such high-concentration environments. They quickly detect dust generation and provide rapid data on aerosol number concentration, particle size distribution, and fluctuations in various production sites, research fields, fieldwork, and restaurants. This enables visualization of contamination levels and cleanliness levels, providing critical information for control. 【Features】 - Maximum measurable concentration: 2,500/CC (70,750,000/CF), 10-hour battery operation - Real-time meter mode with graph display every second - Extremely resistant to dirt. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

30μm large particle counter

Large particles are troublesome, and I want to detect them! However, they are difficult to find! This is where particle counters and know-how come in handy.

The Particle Plus large particle-compatible particle counter detects particles ranging from 0.5 µm to over 30.0 µm. The particle counter measures airborne particles "easily," "in real-time," "by anyone," and "on-site." However, only particles with small diameters can be considered airborne, as they are affected by Brownian motion from air molecules and experience air resistance, allowing them to remain suspended for long periods. In contrast, larger particles do not continue to float and settle (fall) quickly, and they have a low occurrence frequency that does not align with the particle size distribution pattern of atmospheric dust. It is understandable that there are concerns about the phenomenon of contamination by large particles in clean rooms, as well as the issue of having small particles being acceptable while large particles are not. For a particle counter, particles that are difficult to suspend and those that fall outside the premise of isokinetic sampling are very challenging to measure. As particles increase in size, the factors contributing to gravitational settling significantly increase compared to suspension. The particle counter cannot draw in falling particles by bending their trajectory. Opening the sampling inlet and waiting for falling particles to enter is purely a matter of chance. It is essential to measure this accurately. We are always available to assist, not just for demonstrations of the measuring instrument.
