■Triple mirror that forms a unique area Equipped with three sets of optical units built into the sensor. This is a new type of passive sensor featuring twin-type elements (newly developed) in each unit. The area formed by the three sets of optical units significantly reduces false alarms and malfunctions due to its unique layout design. Additionally, the structure allows for a design similar to outdoor lights and internal area adjustments (movable mirrors), making it difficult to infer the direction of the area from the appearance, thus enhancing security. ■Reduction of malfunctions caused by small animals By adopting independent detection units for each mirror, signal processing reduces malfunctions caused by small animals such as cats. Moreover, by using the pet mode (only for three-dimensional vigilance type), it can also cancel out medium-sized dogs (approximately 50 cm in height), allowing for operation in homes with pets. ■Anti-Blind Function This function detects interference applied to the front of the sensor. If an obstruction is attached to the front, it will issue a warning through the output of a trouble alarm and the illumination of a trouble indicator light. Passive sensor for wall and corner mounting adopting fuzzy theory.

■Adoption of Fuzzy Theory The two outputs from the newly developed dual twin element are divided into two pieces of information: the temperature difference and shape difference between the detection object and the background. Using fuzzy theory, it accurately determines whether the detection object is a human or a small animal and outputs an alarm. Even when phenomena that are likely to cause malfunctions, such as small animals (like mice), stray light, drafts, and external noise occur, the dual twin effect ensures that there is little to no impact. ■Abnormal Alarm Function While the sensor is in a standby state, the built-in program allows the sensor itself to monitor the following functions. If an anomaly is detected, it notifies of the abnormality through continuous alarm output and the continuous illumination of the alarm indicator light. ●Low Power Voltage Abnormality… The newly developed CPU constantly monitors the power supply voltage provided to the sensor. If the power supply voltage drops below a certain level, the abnormal alarm is activated. ●Equipment Abnormality… In the unlikely event that damage or disconnection occurs in the internal circuits or connections of the sensor, the abnormal alarm is activated. ●Aiming Position Abnormality… Even if the aiming device is forgotten to be returned after confirming the surveillance area, the abnormal alarm is activated.
