Separated type photo sensors KB1240, KB1241

An infrared light-emitting diode is used on the emitting side, and a phototransistor light-receiving element is used on the receiving side.

The separated type photo sensor KB1240 and 1241 are equipped with an infrared light-emitting diode on the emitting side and a photo IC light-receiving element (digital output) on the receiving side. They can also be used as standalone units for the emitting and receiving sides. The gap between the emitting and receiving sides can be set arbitrarily (1 to 100 mm), and they are a low-cost type. Additionally, we offer other series such as the KB1242 with photo transistor output and RoHS-compliant products. They are suitable for applications such as object passage detection in vending machines and ticket machines, paper presence detection in copiers and printers, timing detection, and object passage detection in various automatic machines.
