With the theme of improvement, Okubo Iron Works aims to achieve its goals through a year-long activity! This time, we will introduce "in-house production of processing parts," which is expected to lead to significant cost reductions through collaboration between factories. (Before Improvement) - Spindle Part A: ¥15,300 - Spindle Part B: ¥14,200 Using three of each per month, the cost is ¥88,500/month. (After Improvement) Requesting processing from another workplace within the same factory. Consolidating the parts into one produced in-house, with in-house production costs of ¥1,439. Using three per month, the cost is ¥4,317/month. Effect: ¥88,500/month → ¥4,317/month (approximately 95% cost reduction)
