In manufacturing sites that perform precision machining such as grinding and polishing, regular cleaning of the coolant tank is conducted. This is because chips and abrasive particles mixed in the coolant accumulate in the tank, making it difficult to maintain clean liquid. Additionally, impurities in the tank can lead to the deterioration of the coolant liquid. Coolant Device 【FD-1 Type Sludge Recovery Device】

The U.ENG manufactured FD-1 type can collect not only the accumulated sludge from cutting fluid and cleaning liquid tanks but also floating sludge without using a bag filter.

The FD-1 type sludge cleaner not only recovers tank sediment sludge but also collects floating sludge without using a bag filter in the filtration element. In bag filter types, sludge collection begins in the bag, and as sludge gradually accumulates in the bag, the sludge suction capacity decreases proportionally, which can lead to clogging in the suction hose, making suction impossible. The FD-1 type maintains its initial suction capacity regardless of the amount of sludge accumulated in the sludge recovery bucket, ensuring that there is no clogging in the suction hose. Generally, wire mesh basket types have an overflow at the top of the basket to maintain this initial suction capacity, which makes it impossible to collect floating sludge. Even if floating sludge is suctioned, it escapes from the top of the wire mesh basket, preventing the collection of sludge in the basket. The FD-1 type enables the collection of floating sludge without allowing this overflow.

It replaces the conventional cutting fluid, which consists of 10% cutting oil and 90% water, with a 100% cutting fluid that performs better than ever before. With over a 50% reduction in annual costs, there is no permanent decay or odor generation, extended tool life, reduced processing time, no foam generation, no rust formation, no need for additional fluid, and no replenishment work required from operators. Average tank capacity: 300L, dilution ratio: 20 times, number of tanks: 20.
