Our company utilizes the precision mold processing technology cultivated in the manufacturing of precision molds for semiconductors to design and manufacture molds that can maintain a certain level of accuracy even when punches and dies are replaced as consumables. This time, we would like to introduce a case where we solved a customer's problem regarding a mold with poor maintainability due to its current matching production. 【Problem】 Poor maintainability of molds produced with current matching - In molds produced with current matching for punches and dies, even if one wants to replace either the punch or the die, they must purchase both the punch and die as a set. - It sometimes requires sending the entire mold set back to the mold manufacturer for punch and die replacement, making maintenance at the customer's site difficult. 【Solution】 Improved maintainability through appropriate clearance design + precision processing technology - By providing clearance for the punch and die and finishing them with micron-level precision, it became possible to replace them at the customer's site without current matching when either the punch or die wears out.

We would like to introduce a molding case using the linear motion digital servo press 'ZENFormer (Double Slide)'. The high-precision protrusion molding of metal separators begins with the parallel control of the outer slide, uniformly constraining the large area of thin sheet across the entire surface. By applying centralized pressure through the inner slide, the central flow path is precisely protruded, achieving high flatness across the entire flow path.
