Recrystallized SiC (Re-SiC)
High purity with extremely low silica content! It has thermal properties close to metals and is also excellent as a refractory material.
Recrystallized SiC (Re-SiC) is a high-performance ceramic material with excellent mechanical strength, high thermal conductivity, and good heat resistance. It is resistant to thermal shock and can be used at higher temperatures (over 1600°C) than other SiC refractories. While it possesses thermal characteristics similar to metals, it also excels as a refractory product. It is used in substrates for semiconductor applications and components for high-temperature furnaces. 【Main Features】 - Advantageous for firing materials that should not react with silica - Conducts heat as efficiently as copper or aluminum, enabling effective heat dissipation - Usable up to 1600°C and resistant to rapid changes due to heat (thermal shock) - Manufactured through casting with a porosity of about 15% - Appears white and sparkling depending on the light exposure *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
