If the boiler operates 24 hours a day, a boiler efficiency of about 90%, heavy oil at 85/L, and a recoverable heat amount of 265KW can be achieved!

Generally, the blowdown water from the boiler is around 150°C. By utilizing this waste heat for preheating the boiler feedwater, it assists in heating the boiler and contributes to energy savings. First, the intermittent blowdown water is overflowed through a heat exchanger, and the feedwater continuously passes through the heat exchanger, allowing for the recovery of the intermittent heat from the blowdown water and raising the feedwater temperature. 【Case Overview】 ■ Use of a heat exchanger for blowdown water waste heat recovery ■ Feedwater continuously passes through the heat exchanger to recover the intermittent heat from the blowdown water and raise the feedwater temperature ■ When the boiler operates 24 hours Boiler efficiency is about 90%, heavy oil at 85 yen/L, and a recoverable heat quantity of 265 kW is achievable ■ In terms of heavy oil, this can result in energy savings of 58,000 yen per day, amounting to 17,430,000 yen annually *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

In this case, the gas/air heat exchanger "Polybloc Stainless Plate" can recover heat from exhaust gases and heat air with low pressure loss. Fin pitch can also be selected for dirt conditions and pressure loss adjustments. Furthermore, cooled exhaust gases can be efficiently recovered using the gas/liquid heat exchanger "AIREC CROSS30," allowing for latent heat recovery to preheat water and assist the boiler.
