Pipe rust prevention, the Royal Bank of Scotland has introduced the NMR Pipe Protector.

The Royal Bank of Scotland confirmed the rust prevention and lifespan extension effects of NMR pipe protectors for air conditioning piping, reducing piping renewal costs to less than one-tenth.

As an example of the introduction of the "NMR Pipe Protector," we present the case of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Branch 250 had been in operation for 18 years and was facing issues with red rust in the air conditioning hot water piping. Due to the high costs of rust inhibitors and a shift towards environmental considerations, the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed in the air conditioning hot water piping in March 2018. As a result of the installation, the iron content value from red rust in the hot water, which was 1.10 mg/L before installation, was re-examined 9 weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, revealing that the hot water was clear and the amount of dissolved iron in the hot water had decreased to approximately 1/3, or 0.41 mg/L. The progression of red rust within the piping also stopped, and the red rust had transformed from a surface state to black rust. The NMR Pipe Protector successfully resolved the issue of red rust dissolving into the water and halted its progression. There is now no longer a concern about the acceleration of piping deterioration due to red rust. Additionally, the coating from black rust has a reinforcing effect on the piping, and it is expected to extend the lifespan of the piping to match the lifespan of the building. *Customer feedback (customer testimonials) and other PDF materials are currently available for free! *Please feel free to contact us first.

Pipe rust prevention, Kumamoto Red Cross Hospital has introduced NMR pipe protectors.

The Kumamoto Red Cross Hospital, which strengthened the piping joints with the black rust conversion effect of the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector," completely prevented water leaks during the Kumamoto earthquake.

Kumamoto Red Cross Hospital, being a long-established medical institution, faced issues due to the aging of its facilities. One of the significant problems that cannot be ignored is the "deterioration of pipes due to red rust." One of the issues caused by the deterioration of the air conditioning hot and cold water pipes is "leakage." In advanced medical facilities, leakage can lead to the malfunction of medical equipment and is certainly undesirable from a hygiene perspective. In response, in 2014, the 'NMR Pipe Protector' was introduced as a measure to prevent pipe deterioration, and its effectiveness was recognized, leading to its implementation throughout the entire facility. A water quality survey conducted before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector revealed that the iron content due to red rust in the hospital's air conditioning hot water was 12.3 mg per liter, indicating significant red rust presence. However, just two weeks after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, this level decreased to 0.07 mg, demonstrating a reduction of approximately 82% in concentration, and proving that the red rust had transformed into insoluble black rust in the water. Not only were we able to protect the medical environment from leakage caused by red rust, but we also became able to allocate more budget to other areas. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

The NMR Pipe Protector was featured on the business program "Corporate Spirit."

There are over 4,200 installations! The red rust prevention device for pipes, "NMR Pipe Protector."

The piping anti-rust device "NMR Pipe Protector" was introduced on the Tokyo MX business program "Corporate Spirit." This product has the function of transforming red rust into black rust. By reducing the size of water aggregates and utilizing free electrons in the water, it reduces red rust in the piping to black rust. While suppressing the occurrence of new red rust, it reduces existing red rust to black rust, thereby strengthening the piping itself. Black rust forms a dense film on the surface of iron, protecting it from red rust, which corrodes iron. It has been used as a rust preventive since ancient times and is still used today for coatings on iron products such as Nambu iron kettles and Chinese woks. This product leverages the advantages of black rust to extend the lifespan of piping. [NMR Pipe Protector Features] ■ Can fundamentally solve the red rust problem ■ Excellent cost performance ■ Installation work is small-scale (no need for water stoppage) *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Preventing the reduction of residual salt concentration by converting red rust in the main water supply pipe (distribution pipe) to black rust.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" converts red rust inside water pipes to black rust and prevents the decrease of chlorine (residual chlorine) concentration for disinfection.

The NMR Pipe Protector has been widely adopted as a device for preventing red rust in piping and extending the lifespan of pipes, and it has recently gained attention in water distribution pipes of water supply agencies. At the Japan Water Works Association's water research presentation held in 2013, the Yokohama City Water Bureau published a paper reporting the results of a demonstration experiment showing that the use of this product can suppress the decrease in chlorine concentration in tap water. This matter was also reported as an article in the Japan Water News. The initial verification confirmed the reduction of iron ion levels in the water and the increase in residual chlorine concentration before and after installation in the water supply pipe within the Tsurumi water reservoir's associated housing. Next, a comparison of residual chlorine concentrations was conducted, revealing that before installation, the chlorine concentration was 0.5 PPM in the test pipe located 10 meters from the main pipe, 0.3 PPM at 60 meters, and 0.2 PPM at 135 meters, indicating that the residual chlorine concentration decreased with increasing distance due to red rust in the piping. After the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, it was confirmed that the chlorine concentration at 135 meters doubled. From these test results, the effectiveness of suppressing the decrease in chlorine concentration was verified, demonstrating that the NMR Pipe Protector can also be used to prevent red rust deterioration in the main water supply pipes (distribution pipes). *For more details, please refer to the PDF or contact us.*

To prevent pipe rust, a famous bookstore building has introduced NMR pipe protectors.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" prevents red rust deterioration inside air conditioning pipes, ensuring the long-term longevity of the pipes and proactively preventing asbestos issues.

The building housing the famous bookstore in Shinjuku is always bustling with many people. About 20 years ago, we were troubled by the deterioration of the air conditioning chilled and hot water piping due to red rust. Because asbestos was used in the ceiling, it was practically impossible to carry out piping replacement work. As an alternative to replacing the piping, we introduced the 'NMR Pipe Protector,' a device that can be installed on the outside of the piping to extend its lifespan by over 40 years. A pipe inspection, which involves removing a section of the piping for examination, was conducted 19 months after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector. The results showed no signs of red rust corrosion on the inner surface of the piping, and the transformation of red rust to black rust was confirmed, indicating a very good condition of the piping. The building is already 57 years old, but the galvanized steel piping used for the air conditioning chilled and hot water system, which has been in use since its completion, has shown no leaks, and a follow-up survey in 2020 confirmed that there has been no occurrence of red rust since the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Pipe rust prevention, Mansion Palace Tsurumi has introduced NMR Pipe Protectors.

Rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" demonstrates rust prevention effectiveness even when introduced to a 39-year-old condominium!

The "Palace Tsurumi" condominium in Tsurumi Ward, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, has introduced the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" in its 39th year since construction. This is the first implementation of measures against red rust deterioration in the water supply pipes since completion. The management company proposed updating the piping with stainless steel pipes as a measure against water supply pipe deterioration; however, due to the repayment of loans from exterior wall repair work and insufficient reserve funds, it was difficult for the management association to proceed with the pipe replacement. The management association approved the introduction of the NMR Pipe Protector at the general meeting because it came with a guarantee that stated, "If it does not work, we will refund you." To objectively evaluate the red rust prevention effect of the red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector," quantitative effect measurement is conducted. As the red rust gradually transforms into black rust with a volume reduction of 1/10 due to the NMR Pipe Protector, the Palace Tsurumi conducted an investigation of the red rust blockage rate using an endoscope at two locations in the seventh year after installation, showing a reduction in blockage rates of 35.3% and 17.4% compared to before installation. The NMR Pipe Protector demonstrated its rust prevention effectiveness even in piping that had not undergone maintenance for 39 years since completion. *For more details, please refer to the PDF or feel free to contact us.*

Pipe rust prevention, Legend Hotel Saigon introduces NMR pipe protectors.

Terrible red water becomes clear! The "NMR Pipe Protector," a device that eliminates red water caused by rust in pipes in a short period.

At the Legend Hotel Saigon (now Lotte Hotel Saigon) in Vietnam, severe red water emerged from the water supply pipes just six years after its construction. Despite running the water for an extended period, there was no sign of improvement, leaving guests unable to even take showers. The water in Vietnam contains a high level of sulfate components, which reacts with galvanized steel pipes (SGP), making it very prone to red rust formation. In response, in 2008, a red rust prevention device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed in the water supply piping. Before the installation, red water was coming from all the water taps in the hotel. However, about a month and a half later, after conducting water quality checks in the sinks, baths, and toilets of ten guest rooms on the 14th to 17th floors, it was found that the water supply in almost all rooms had become clear, confirming the effectiveness of the red rust prevention. The corrosion of red rust in the water supply pipes was halted, and it was successfully transformed into black rust. This demonstrated that even in water with a high sulfate content that easily corrodes water supply pipes, the conversion of red rust to black rust could be achieved, exhibiting a high level of rust prevention effectiveness. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

To prevent pipe rust, Tokyo University of Science has introduced the NMR Pipe Protector.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" prevents the deterioration of piping due to red rust, resulting in significant cost savings.

The Kagurazaka campus of Tokyo University of Science was 26 years old at the time. The water supply pipes were made of PVC-lined steel pipes, and serious red rust blockages had occurred at the joints of the water supply pipes. Before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, an inspection of the red rust blockage rate in the toilet water supply piping revealed that the blockage rate was 35%, indicating significant red rust deterioration. After the introduction of the NMR Pipe Protector, a re-inspection was conducted at the same location 10 months later. The results showed that the red rust blockage rate had decreased to 31%, and it was verified that the red rust was gradually changing from a volume of 1/10 of black rust from the surface of the red rust. At Tokyo University of Science, the NMR Pipe Protector was introduced to extend the lifespan of the piping in buildings and facilities that were originally scheduled for replacement in 10 to 15 years.

To prevent red rust in piping, Nihon University College of Engineering has introduced the NMR Pipe Protector.

The red rust prevention device "NMR Pipe Protector" achieves rust prevention and reinforcement of piping through the black rust transformation of red rust! It significantly reduces maintenance costs for water supply pipes.

At the Nihon University College of Engineering campus in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, the water supply pipes in several research buildings were significantly deteriorated due to red rust, resulting in red water coming from the taps on holidays and the following days. To reduce the future piping renewal costs by 1/5 to 1/10, a red rust prevention device called "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. The results of an inspection conducted one month after installation clearly demonstrated the excellent performance of the NMR Pipe Protector. The iron content in the water due to red rust decreased to less than 1/10 of the pre-installation level (from 7.8 mg/L before installation to 0.1 mg/L after installation). Originally, the iron content was at 7.8 mg/L, exceeding the water quality standard value of the Water Supply Act (0.3 mg/L), indicating a very serious progression of red rust. However, after installation, it was significantly below that standard value, proving the rust prevention effect through the blackening of red rust and the extension of pipe life. The water quality was remarkably restored to a hygienically satisfactory level. The NMR Pipe Protector is an exceptionally effective rust prevention device that saves energy in creating new piping, thereby reducing environmental burden. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Pipe rust prevention, the BBC in the UK has introduced the NMR pipe protector.

Preventing red rust in the air conditioning pipes of the BBC in the UK, extending the life of the pipes by preventing leaks with the red rust prevention device 'NMR Pipe Protector'

The air conditioning piping in the main block building of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) is 53 years old and has been experiencing leaks due to red rust deterioration. To avoid disruptions in program production during the pipe replacement work, a red rust prevention device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed. The effectiveness of the NMR Pipe Protector in preventing red rust was verified in just about one month. Before installation, the iron content in the circulating water of the cooling water piping in the main block building was very high at 5.53 mg/L, indicating serious red rust deterioration. However, a water quality test conducted 32 days after the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector showed a significant reduction to 0.05 mg/L, which is less than 1/100 of the previous value, confirming the rust prevention effect due to the black rust formation caused by the NMR Pipe Protector. In the Stage 5 building, the iron content was also very high at 3.80 mg/L before the installation of the NMR Pipe Protector, but after installation, it decreased to approximately 0.06 mg/L, which is about 1/63 of the previous value, completely preventing red rust deterioration in the cooling water piping. Even in the 53-year-old BBC building, the high effectiveness of red rust prevention has been proven to prevent leaks and extend the life of the piping. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Pipe anti-corrosion, hospital water supply and air conditioning piping longevity device "NMR Pipe Protector"

NMR Pipe Protector extends the lifespan of hospital water supply pipes and air conditioning chilled and hot water pipes affected by red rust deterioration for over 40 years at one-tenth the cost of pipe replacement.

Water supply pipes and chilled/hot water piping generally require replacement due to aging deterioration. In hospitals with over 25 years of operation, the chilled/hot water piping can experience red rust deterioration, leading to red rust blockage. At the same time, this red rust can flow into copper fan coils, causing blockages and reducing heating and cooling efficiency. Additionally, the red rust can accumulate within the heat source equipment, shortening its lifespan. In the water supply pipes, red rust can develop at the joints, and as the red rust deterioration progresses within both pipes, the threads at the joints can break off, leading to leaks during strong earthquakes. The NMR Pipe Protector prevents red rust deterioration, transforms red rust into black rust to improve pipe strength, and extends the lifespan of the piping. Since the chilled/hot water system is centralized, if piping replacement is carried out, the hospital must halt operations for more than six months, and the replacement costs can reach hundreds of millions to over a billion yen. The damages caused by operational downtime are also significant, leading to a demand for technology that can extend the lifespan of the air conditioning piping without replacement. The NMR Pipe Protector, a device for preventing red rust within pipes, has made this possible at less than one-tenth the cost.

[NMR Pipe Protector Verification Results] Water Supply Pipe in Binh Phuc Province, Vietnam

The red rust inside the cast iron water supply pipe has turned into black rust! It has been proven that the leaching of red rust into the water has been completely prevented.

In the Huong Canh area of the Water Supply Bureau in Binh Phuc Province, Vietnam, cast iron pipes (150A) have been in use for 15 years, leading to the progression of red rust corrosion inside the pipes, which resulted in the regular occurrence of red water. To address this red water issue, a red rust prevention device called the "NMR Pipe Protector" was installed at the base of the cast iron water supply pipes (150A). Before installation, the water color and the amount of red rust at the sampling points located 500m north, 300m west, and 600m south of the installation site were as follows: the northern point had a light brown color with 7.0 mg/l of red rust, the western point had a brown color with 8.0 mg/l, and the southern point had a dark brown color with 23 mg/l. Two weeks after installation, the northern point showed a lighter color and a reduction in red rust to 4.6 mg/l. The western point nearly lost its color, decreasing to 2.0 mg/l. The southern point changed to a light brown color with a reduction to 12 mg/l. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
