High-pressure rupture disk effective for pulsating pressure 'HPRRD'

Introducing the "HPRRD," a high-pressure rupture disk suitable for the chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as the oil and gas industry.

The high-pressure rupture disk HPRRD, newly designed and improved by REMBE, is an inverted rupture disk that can be used even in the presence of pulsating pressure. The most notable feature of this improvement is the significant enhancement in durability. It can be set for high pressures of over 30 MPa, with an operating pressure ratio (the minimum ratio of operating pressure to burst pressure) of up to 95%. Formed compactly from solid material, it does not have machining such as score grooves or blades that affect fatigue strength on the fracture surface, making it a rupture disk that is less prone to deterioration and has a long lifespan. ■ Features - Pressure can be set from 30 to 400 MPa - Compatible with high temperatures up to 350 ℃ - Operating pressure ratio (the minimum ratio of operating pressure to burst pressure) of up to 95% - Inverted rupture disk - Effective for use in the presence of pulsating pressure - Made from full solid material, ensuring durability and long lifespan - No obstruction in the flow path, fully open - No dedicated holder required *For more details, please feel free to view the materials by clicking the "Catalog Download" button.

Rapture Disk "Score Type Disk"

Available for processes with overlapping materials! POLY-SD, SCRD-FSR score-type discs.

The "POLY-SD Score Type Disk" has a thickness more than three times that of a standard tensile type disk, with pre-scored grooves on the atmospheric side of the plate. The depth of these grooves controls the burst pressure, which is set accordingly. As a result, it offers a long lifespan and consistently stable burst pressure, making it a rupture disk developed by Faik for process protection, particularly in polymerization processes. Additionally, for high pressure applications, there is the "SCRD-FSR," which features a ring welded to the outer circumference of the sheet. 【Features】 ■ A versatile option among rupture disks ■ Suitable for processes involving polymerization ■ No fragment dispersion ■ Strong against cyclic pulsation operation (compared to other tensile types) ■ Can be used up to full vacuum without vacuum support *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Performance verification of the rupture disk.

Conducting burst tests at room temperature based on the Fahrenheit temperature conversion values! Introducing the performance verification of rupture disks.

The performance verification of a rupture disk begins with the actual production of the rupture disk and its rupture. We empirically select materials with a plate thickness that meets the specifications, and then process that material into various forms, such as forming it into a dome, adding grooves, or making through-cuts. We then test the manufactured rupture disk by rupturing it to confirm whether it meets the specifications (performance). Once the tested rupture disk reaches a stage where it satisfies the specifications, we proceed to manufacture the product and the standard rupture test rupture disk. [Materials Used for the Disk] ■ Stainless Steel ■ Nickel ■ Inconel ■ Tantalum ■ Monel ■ Hastelloy ■ Teflon *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Method for setting rupture pressure

The pressure varies depending on the container used for installation! Leave the support for setting the appropriate burst pressure to us.

The setting of the burst pressure is a very important point for rupture disks, but how should one decide on the pressure to set? From a safety perspective, it is desirable to set the pressure that causes the rupture disk to burst as low as possible. On the other hand, it is generally more effective for the lifespan of the product to set the operating pressure higher, creating a larger difference from the set pressure. Therefore, considering the difference between the burst pressure and the operating pressure, as well as the allowable tolerance of the rupture disk, the specific pressure is determined based on the design pressure of the container in which it will be installed. In cases where the pressure vessel structural standards or the High-Pressure Gas Safety Act apply, the settings will be made in accordance with the applicable regulations. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Pressure Relief | UKB-LS Type Rupture Disk

Helium leak tested high airtightness rupture disk.

The UKB LS consists of a customizable housing, an inverted rupture disk, and a three-section knife. When the specified burst pressure is reached, the rupture disk bursts open towards the knife. This design allows for the lowest burst pressure while also enabling high vacuum conditions. The rupture disk and housing are micro-welded, and all components are made of metal, ensuring maximum airtightness. A maximum leakage rate of 10^-10 is achievable. With various types of connections available, we provide pressure relief units that perfectly fit any application, including high-purity processes. Despite the numerous variations, several "standard" sizes have been established over the past few decades for installation between commercially available flanges.

Rupture disks that overcome common challenges in the industry.

Attention engineers and production managers in the oil, gas, chemical, and petrochemical fields! *White paper available for distribution.

Our company is a manufacturer of explosion protection and pressure relief products headquartered in Germany. Engineers in the oil, gas, chemical, and petrochemical sectors have relied on rupture discs for many years to quickly and reliably relieve unwanted and excessive pressure or vacuum within production processes. However, the early rupture discs were very simple, consisting of a flat metal piece installed between flanges that was weakened at a predetermined point using a mechanical scoring method (grooving) to open. Advancements in technology and design have dramatically improved quality and reliability, eliminating long-standing concerns such as pinholes, leaks, premature failures, and frequent replacements. *We are also offering a white paper in addition to our product catalog. The white paper discusses the challenges faced with rupture discs in the past and the current rupture discs that have resolved those issues. [Past Challenges] - Frequent leaks - Many premature failures (ruptures) - Need for frequent replacements

Pressure Relief | GRX Type Graphite Rupture Disk

FDA-compliant pure graphite rupture disk

REMBE's unique graphite rupture disk is a product that boasts high performance and reliability characteristic of REMBE. It is designed to withstand highly corrosive media, low pressure, and high temperatures. All rupture disks manufactured by REMBE, including the graphite rupture disk, are made in Germany. The maximum operating pressure of the graphite rupture disk is 80% of the minimum burst pressure*. REMBE's graphite rupture disks are suitable for high temperatures due to a unique chemical vapor deposition method called "PyC coating (pyrolytic carbon)." They can operate under oxidizing and reducing atmospheres from -180 °C to +500 °C, and under inert conditions, they can withstand temperatures up to +1,500 °C. Even with the addition of vacuum support, the aforementioned operating conditions are maintained. Depending on the application and pipe nominal diameter, the rupture disk can be directly installed between flanges. It is also possible to incorporate a signaling device into existing control systems to notify of disk reactions. For burst pressures ranging from 20 mbarg to 63 barg, the pipe nominal diameter can accommodate from DN 15 to DN 600. *This may vary depending on the application.
