We have developed a high-performance ferritic stainless steel "SF-160+α" that achieves corrosion resistance and workability comparable to general-purpose austenitic stainless steel, widely suitable for various applications. SF-160+α offers economic advantages by being free of nickel and molybdenum, along with strong magnetic properties, low thermal expansion, oxidation resistance, and advanced refining technology that reduces harmful impurities and inclusions. By adding trace amounts of copper and niobium, it achieves corrosion resistance close to that of austenitic stainless steel (SUS304 series).
