Setter faces various challenges, such as high-temperature environments and reactions with the workpieces during the firing process. Under these harsh conditions, ceramic setters are widely used. The setter is made from high-purity alumina, designed as a porous material with a pore diameter of 10 microns. It can withstand temperatures up to 1600°C, making it suitable for ceramic firing.
