[Production Module Analysis Case] Evaluation Parameters

Breaking away from conventional simple methods! Moving towards "analysis" of NC data with the AdvantEdge brand.

This is an example of analysis regarding the issues of "Although the cutting volume was kept constant, the tool was damaged due to machining titanium alloy with a shallow cutting depth" and "Although the cutting volume was kept constant, the surface finish of the aluminum alloy machining deteriorated." The analysis using 'ProductionModule' evaluates tool damage and trial surface finish characteristics. By evaluating the cutting load during machining in detail rather than using a simplified method based on cutting geometry, it becomes possible to optimize the cutting simulation process considering machining time and tool life, including the spindle power of the machine tool and tool torque. 【Issues】 ■ Although the cutting volume was kept constant, the tool was damaged due to machining titanium alloy with a shallow cutting depth. ■ Although the cutting volume was kept constant, the surface finish of the aluminum alloy machining deteriorated. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Optimization of NC Data for Automotive Aluminum Alloy Parts

A "leap" from geometric simulation in CAD/CAM to physical simulation!

In the 'Production Module' that evaluates cutting loads on CAD/CAM models, it is possible to conduct necessary considerations for creating optimal machining processes through cutting simulations. We will introduce examples of considering tool changes through cutting simulations. While improvements aimed at increasing productivity are demanded daily, it is difficult to stop the manufacturing process for testing. However, this product contributes to reducing machining time through tool changes. [Issues] - In addition to diverse geometries of tool paths, it is common for machining processes to include multiple operations such as face milling and drilling. - While improvements aimed at increasing productivity are demanded daily, it is difficult to stop the manufacturing process for testing. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

[AdvantEdge FEM Analysis Case] Tool Deflection Evaluation

We can quantitatively grasp the factors that influence tool deflection! Introduction of analysis cases.

In "AdvantEdge FEM," it is possible to evaluate parameters that are difficult to measure, such as tool deflection, through cutting simulation. We will introduce a case study of a cutting simulation experiment where tool deflection varies due to machining factors. There were challenges associated with tool deflection, such as "degradation of shape accuracy," "the occurrence of chatter," and "difficulty in measuring deflection." With our product, you can quantitatively understand the factors that influence tool deflection. Please feel free to contact us when needed. [Challenges due to tool deflection] ■ Degradation of shape accuracy ■ Occurrence of chatter ■ Difficulty in measuring deflection *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
