We have downsized the paper core size from the conventional 3 inches to 1 inch, reducing the amount of paper used during manufacturing to 1/9 and slimmed down the outer diameter. As a result, the number of containers that can be loaded has increased, allowing us to keep prices down. Compared to the conventional 3-inch type, it is about 27 yen cheaper per roll, and for a box containing 9 rolls, it amounts to approximately 240 yen in savings. Assuming the average fuel efficiency of a large truck is about 3 km/L and the price of light oil is 150 yen/L, 240 yen corresponds to about 4.8 km of fuel efficiency. However, this calculation is based on our actual measurements. The benefits will vary depending on the thickness and price of the film you are currently using.
