[Case Study] Dust Suppression Measures for Raw Material Receiving Equipment
Automating the input of powdered raw materials keeps workers away from dust sources and improves the working environment related to repetitive bag opening tasks!
We would like to introduce a case study of an acceptance facility that employs a bulk bag opening machine, a screw conveyor, and a Tsubaki NFV light conveyor. In this case, alumina raw materials were manually opened from bulk bags and stored in a stockyard, after which they were loaded into a hopper using an excavator. This resulted in a significant physical burden on workers and a large amount of dust generation. As demonstrated by the introduction of this equipment, we aim to automate the raw material loading process, reduce manual labor, and suppress dust generation, thereby contributing to improvements in the work environment, safety, and hygiene.
